The Oak Class turned the clock back to the 17th April 1945 and came into class dressed as evacuees. The children arrived to the sounds of the Andrew’s Sisters serenading them and spent some time reading authentic newspaper articles from the time. They had an amazing day learning, and experiencing some of the things evacuee children experienced - who would have guessed Spam and liver would be so popular!
