The Oaks

The Oaks

Welcome to the Oaks class. We are the oldest children in school: Year 5 and Year 6.

The pupils in The Oaks' have lots of responsibilities around school, the most important of these is being a good role-model to the younger pupils. Other responsibilities include: assisting in the lunch hall after school lunches have been served; rewarding children around school with certificates in our Celebration Assembly; being 'Buddies' with the children in The Acorns during specific events, e.g. Celebration Assembly; walking to St Michael and All Angels Church, etc.

As well as our lessons we have lot of other exciting events which happen throughout the year. Some of these include the end of year performance which last year was Peter Pan and was performed at the Devonshire Institute in the town hall, Grassington. Also, our exciting residential for the Year 4, 5 and Year 6 pupils.
