The school has a uniform, which we believe contributes strongly to a sense of belonging to Threshfield Primary School. We want our children to feel proud to be part of our community.

Please ensure your child’s uniform conforms to the following guidance and please make sure all your child’s belongings are named.

- navy school jumper/hoodie/cardigan

- green school jumper/hoodie/cardigan for preschool is optional

- white polo shirt

- grey trouser or shorts with grey socks

- navy/navy tartan pinafore or skirt with navy socks

School uniform items can be purchased branded with the school logo or plain.

Footwear

- black or navy school shoes

In school children should not wear boots, trainers or wellingtons. If they come to school in any of these they need to bring school shoes with them to wear in school.

P.E. Kit

- blue socks

- blue shorts (spring or summer) or jogging trousers (autumn or winter) depending on the time of the year

- navy blue polo shirt

- black pumps

Children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 require pumps (these should be pliant and close fitting with a good tread.) Trainers are unsuitable for inside work at Threshfield School, although you are welcome to send your child with trainers in addition to their pumps for outdoor P.E. lessons.

Children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 require trainers.

Reading Bags

Reading bags are required in order to keep our books dry. These can be purchased with or without the Threshfield School Logo from Skip to School, Water Street, Skipton.

Jewellery

Children MUST NOT wear any jewellery in school, with the exception of wristwatches, which may be worn, but at the owner’s own risk.

Recycling

Children grow very fast, so we have lots of items of school clothing that are in brilliant condition. These items are in fantastic condition and many are like new.
