We had an assembly with two visitors from the Rotary Club. They explained to us how Shelter Boxes are used in places like Turkey to support local people after earthquakes and showed us what is found in each box. This encouraged us as we thought about how we could fundraise to help provide a box ourselves.
At the end of the assembly they also presented certificates to those who had entered and won the writing competition that many of the children in Oaks had entered back in December.
