The Saplings and Oaks were really excited to have sessions working with a lady who showed them many different things relating to how life may have been in the stone age. They were shown how to start campfires, they could explore different tools they would have used and the ways they may have stayed warm. By far the thing everybody enjoyed the most was making their own bread dough and rolling it around sticks to cook over the camp fire! It was such an interesting day which helped the children from both classes picture more easily what they had been learning about in their history lessons.
