The Saplings Class visited Harlow Carr on Monday. The trip was to support their Geography topic, the conversation of bees. During the day the children had some wonderful experiences of hands on learning, where they were able to explore different types of plants and the children had to work out different ways seeds are transported. The children also worked in groups to look more closely at the shapes and colours of plants. After lunch the children had a wonderful time climbing and playing in the treehouse and playground. The day was absolutely fantastic!
