At Threshfield Primary School, everything we do stems from our commitment to each individual child. Our drive come from our determination to ensure that we provide the best for each child that attends our school.

We value the uniqueness of each individual and want them to succeed, to grow and to learn.

Therefore, it is essential that the children are taught to do the same.

We want our children to know why they are special and what makes them unique. We want them to recognise what they thrive in and where they may need a little more help. We want our children to have respect and appreciation for themselves.

From this understanding, the children can develop the key values we want to see in them: confidence, resilience, perseverance, respect and  empathy.

With these values, our children will be able to develop lasting friendships, work in a team and become an effective leader. They will be receptive to new ideas and able to tackle new challenges. They will be able to look after themselves and others and be a respectful and an active citizen of the world.

We want them to know why they are special, enabling them to see what is special in others and to take this with them, wherever they may go.
